Shea Butter Balm is a mixture of oils that are well known and often used for skin complaints. It has anti-inflammatory properties and helps with skin regeneration. It can be used for wounds, burns and rashes. It improves circulation in the capillaries and can soften and reduce the appearance of stretch marks and scars. It is rich in antioxidants and can help soften and lubricate the skin.
This blend goes on smooth and leaves your skin feeling soft and supple without that greasy feeling.
It is good for abrasions, as a preventative or to treat diaper rash, and on dry/chapped skin. It is used by us often during the winter months to treat and prevent chapped skin from the cold and wind.
This balm can be used on overactive kids before bed as well as any scrapes or scratches they might have. Lavender and chamomile are calming oils often used for relaxation but they are also good for skin conditions and wounds. They have anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antibacterial and antiseptic properties.
